New England Big Game Trials

A day of hound competition at the NE Big Game Trials in Salem, NY resulted in a 1st place in the 3-dog bear bay with Derek Moy (left) of Mountain High Kennel with Holiday (left) and Trump (center). Zach is pictured with Goose on right with Max holding the plaque.

Other events included were a 1-dog and 2-dog bear bay, scent drag, table show and water drag.

Max had a great time helping with the dogs and making some of the selections for competition. He entered his dog Copper who did excellent in the bear bay.

Welcome to the newest little bunny!

A new baby boy finally came into the world on 7/26/21 after only 2 hours of labor! Miles Lane Robinson weighed 10 lbs. 9 oz. at birth! His whole family is in love! We are complete!

NY Bear Season

July and August is training season for hounds on bear. This video was taken on Bear Spring Mountain and was one of the first bears treed of the season. Dogs have been doing well for the most part with old Scooby still rigging like the pro he is! No bear was harmed in the making of this video. In NY you can only tree bears with your hounds, there is no hunting season with hounds.
